Best accessibility, good location – Hanover was mentioned for the first time in 1150 when everything looked different. Today, the trade fair city is home to nine universities, among others for art, theatre, medicine, music, and film. As the state capital with an international flair, Hanover has an ICE train station and excellent transport connections with the A7, Mittellandkanal and airport. Just a stone’s throw from the train station is the Maschsee lake and on its shores the renowned Sprengel Museum Hanover. Vis-à-vis, the path leads through the idyllic Maschpark to the magnificent New Town Hall, one of the most beautiful sights in Hanover and the city’s landmark. The Old Town Hall in the center of the Old Town is also worth a visit. Let yourself be led past the famous Nana sculptures of the artist Niki de Saint Phalle, the so-called “buxom women” or the former royal residence and today’s seat of the Lower Saxony Parliament, the “Leineschloss”, at the ZUSAMMENSPIEL Geocache, the somewhat different city tour.
